Murl Allen Sanders has been teaching privately in the Seattle area for over twenty years. Murl holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Washington, and is adjunct faculty at Cornish College of the Arts and Shoreline Community College in Seattle, Washington.

As an internationally recognized accordionist, Murl gives workshops for accordionists at accordion festivals and conventions in the United States, Great Britain and Canada.

Murl teaches beginning to advanced accordion and piano to children and adults, and is fluent in many styles and expert in jazz, blues, rhythm and blues, pop, country, Brazilian, klezmer, Irish and zydeco. Murl is occasionally called upon for performance and vocal coaching, and is skilled as a choral and instrumental ensemble conductor.
